Jacquie Rogers had careers in advertising and academia before discovering writing suited her better. Her Roman historical mystery The Governor’s Man was published by Sharpe books in May 2021. It’s the first of a series, which should keep both her and her hero Beneficiarius Quintus Valerius busy.
A linked short story, ‘Wolves of Viroconium’, appeared in Roman anthology Imperium, published by Aspects of History Magazine in November 2021.
Jacquie lives in the Malvern Hills of England with her husband Peter and their lunatic Staffie cross. She loves to travel on their Triumph motorbike, and enjoys discussing politics, travel and books with friends. She admits to spending a lot of time in pubs and cafes when pandemics allow.
