Sarah Smith is a writer from Glasgow who also works as a family history researcher and creative writing tutor.
Before focussing on her writing career, she worked for over 30 years as a project worker and tutor with disability and mental health organisations.
She was awarded a New Writers Award for fiction (2019) from Scottish Book Trust and an MLitt (Distinction) in Creative Writing from the University of Glasgow (2018).
Sarah’s debut novel, Hear No Evil, is an historical crime story set in Glasgow and Edinburgh in 1817 and was published in February 2022. Her short stories, poetry and flash fiction have been published in various anthologies and journals.
