Louise Morrish is a Librarian, and currently works part-time managing a secondary school library in Hampshire.
She writes historical fiction inspired by the lives of real women in the past whose stories have been forgotten. Her debut novel, OPERATION MOONLIGHT, won the Penguin Random House First Novel Competition, and was published by Century in July 2022. Her second novel, WOMEN OF WAR, was published in March 2025. Her third novel, THE LIBRARY OF WAR AND PEACE, will be published in April 2026.
She lives in Hampshire with her family. In her spare time she loves to trail run, wild swim, and read.
