Lora studied English at university before training at East 15 Acting School and went on to work as an actor and director. In 2018, Lora undertook a Masters in Creative Writing at Royal Holloway, University of London. Her debut novel, Daughter Of The Shipwreck, was published in 2021 and her second, The Widow’s Last Secret, in 2022. She was the winner of the Yeovil Literary Prize 2024 for her unpublished novel, The Experimental Gentlemen. She is fascinated by all things historical and by the stories of the people and places who have been neglected or forgotten. Her new novel will be published in 2027.
