The Historical Writers Association exists to promote, support and connect authors of historical fiction and non-fiction. We do this in a variety of ways and are always working on new ideas and fresh approaches for and with our members.
Membership is open to historical fiction and non-fiction writers who have work published by a recognised publisher, plus their agents and publishers. Membership is limited to those authors who have had work published in the last 5 years. For the avoidance of doubt, ‘historical’ shall be defined as being beyond 35 years from the point of application.
Membership options and prices
Membership prices are for 12 months. To minimise admin costs we require all members to set-up a subscription for payment; you remain in full control and can cancel at any time.
Corporate membership allows up to four individuals to attend events as a member.
