Tessa Harris

Tessa Harris

21st July 2015 by Tessa Harris

Since leaving Oxford University with a History degree, Tessa Harris has been a journalist and editor, contributing to many national newspapers and magazines in the United Kingdom over the past 30 years. She has also acted as a literary publicist for several well-known authors. Winning a European-wide screenplay writing competition led to the optioning of a screenplay, set in 18th-century England. Using her research into the period, she wrote The Anatomist’s Apprentice, the first novel in her Dr. Thomas Silkstone Mystery series. It won the Romantic Times Best First Mystery Award, 2012. Four more books in the same series have followed. She is married with two children and lives in Berkshire.
