Published by Atlantic Books and represented by Teresa Chris, Nicola Pryce’s novels are set on the south coast of Cornwall, 1793 -1800. She trained as a nurse in St Bartholomew’s Hospital and has an Open University degree in humanities. She is a qualified library assistant and literacy support volunteer and lives in the Blackdown Hills in Somerset with her husband and border terrier. Together they sail the south coast of Cornwall in search of adventure.

Her debut novel Pengelly’s Daughter was published in July 2016.The Captain’s Girl, followed (2017), then The Cornish Dressmaker (2018), The Cornish Lady (2019), and A Cornish Betrothal (2020). The Cornish Captive will be published in November 2021.
