Juliet West

Juliet West

31st March 2015 by Juliet West

Juliet West worked as a journalist before taking an MA in Creative Writing at Chichester University, where she won the Kate Betts’ Memorial Prize. Her latest novel The Faithful (2017) is published by Mantle/Macmillan. Set in Sussex and London during the 1930s, The Faithful follows the lives and loves of two very different families caught up in the British blackshirt movement. Juliet’s debut novel Before the Fall is inspired by the true story of a First World War love affair. Shortlisted for the Myriad Editions novel-writing competition, the book was published in May 2014, also by Mantle/Macmillan.
