Born in New Jersey, USA, Gina Buonaguro currently resides in Toronto, Canada. Her latest solo novel, The Virgins of Venice, will be released on December 13, 2022. She has coauthored six novels, written dozens of articles, won five writing grants, and edited/proofread for multiple clients, with a BA in English from Villanova University (Pennsylvania) and an MA in English from the University of British Columbia (Canada) while on a Fulbright Scholarship.
Her interests include Italy (and Venice), the Renaissance, the artist Raphael, maps, geography, travel, American, British, Canadian, European, and Ancient history, reading historical fiction, and bingewatching historical series. She is the kind of person who stops to read every roadside plaque and sign.
