Elizabeth Chadwick is a multi award winning author of  22 historical novels set in the Middle Ages, published in 20 languages.   Her novel The Greatest Knight, covering  the career of the 12th and 13th century tourney champion and regent of England, William Marshal is a worldwide bestseller and she occasionally lectures to audiences about his life and times.  She generally covers the period between 1066-1250 and the study of the Angevin period is her particular interest. Her five novels about the Marshal family and their allies have been optioned for film and TV. She has just completed three novels about Eleanor of Aquitaine – The Summer Queen and The Winter Crown have both been published. The Autumn Throne will be available in September 2016.   She is currently working on a novel about William Marshal’s experiences in the Holy Land between 1183 and 1186.
