Resurrectionist

Resurrectionist

Resurrectionist

14th April 2015 by James McGee

A new term at London’s anatomy schools brings demand for fresh corpses and the city’s resurrection men vie for control of the market. When a grave robber is brutally murdered and his body displayed as a warning to other gangs, Hawkwood must venture into London’s murkiest corners to hunt down those responsible. Gruesome discoveries await him. Nowhere, though, is as grim as Bedlam, notorious asylum for the insane and the scene of another bizarre killing. Assigned to investigate, Hawkwood finds himself pitted against a formidable yet elusive adversary: Colonel Titus Hyde, an obsessive surgeon whose insanity is matched only by his brilliance; a man hell-bent on advancing the cause of science at any cost.
